Luke Combs Shares New 'The Way I Am' Single I Ain't No Cowboy

Luke Combs has shared a new song, I Ain't No Cowboy.
The country ballad is the latest preview of the Grammy-nominated North Carolina artist's new album, 'The Way I Am', due out on March 20. He wrote it with Cody Johnson and Jake Mears. Combs explains:
“We were on tour in Australia with Cody Johnson and had planned to get together while we were there. I had this cowboy idea for a song, and ironically, he’d started writing something really similar that same day. We ended up finding time to write and finished ‘I Ain’t No Cowboy’ with his guitar player Jake Mears, and I even got to play it at one of the shows Down Under. The fans really seemed to love it, so I’m excited they get to hear it a week before the full album comes out."
Combs has previously teased the 22-track follow-up to 2024's 'Fathers & Sons' with the tracks Be By You, Sleepless In a Hotel Room, Giving Her Away and Back In The Saddle, as well as the songs from his 2025 EP 'The Prequel'; My Kinda Saturday Night, Days Like These and 15 Minutes.
The country superstar will support his new record with the My Kinda Saturday Night Tour across North America, which kicks off on March 21 in Las Vegas.
The UK and European leg will follow in the summer and includes two shows apiece at Dublin's Slane Castle and Murrayfield Stadium in Edinburgh, plus three nights at London's Wembley Stadium. Tickets are on sale now.
