Peter Frampton has announced his first album of all original material in 16 years.
'Carry The Light', which was co-written and co-produced with his son Julian, is set for release on May 15. It features 10 tracks, including guest appearances from Graham Nash, Sheryl Crow, Tom Morello, Benmont Tench, Bill Evans and H.E.R.
As a preview, Frampton has shared the lead single, Buried Treasure, a laid-back guitar-driven tribute to Tom Petty featuring Heartbreakers co-founder Tench on keys.
The English singer-songwriter and guitarist released his last studio album, 'Frampton Forgets The Words', back in 2021. It features instrumental covers of some of Frampton's favourite songs by other artists. His last album of all-original material was 2010's 'Thank You Mr. Churchill'.
