Ashley McBride has announced her fifth studio album.
The follow-up to 2023's 'The Devil I Know' is titled 'Wild' and will arrive on May 8 via Warner Records Nashville. It was produced by John Osborne, one half of the Grammy-winning country duo Brothers Osborne, who previously helmed her 2022 LP 'Lindeville', and was recorded with her live band Deadhorse. McBryde said:
"When people hear this record, I hope it wakes up the part of them that I’m singing about in ‘Wild’—the part that still believes in those unrealized dreams and untaken risks. I believe that wild little kid is still alive inside of all of us, and that’s the version of everyone that I want to sing to."
Osborne added: "Ashley McBryde is a rare gem There are people out there with natural ability and there are people that dedicate every waking hour to honing their craft. Ashley is both. Never settling. Always reaching. The perfect combination of vulnerable and fearless."
The Grammy-winning Arkansas country singer has already teased the record with three tracks, Rattlesnake Preacher, Arkansas Mud and What If We Don't, with a fourth preview coming the form of the vulnerable acoustic ballad Bottle Tells Me So, which finds her reflecting on her personal struggles with addiction and the journey toward sobriety.
McBryde will celebrate 'Wild' with intimate acoustic performance at All Saints Church in Kingston on April 30. She'll also headline Belfast's Custom House Square as part of the Summer Series on June 25, before supporting Garth Brooks at his BST Hyde Park London Show on June 27, alongside Zac Brown Band, Alexandra Kay, The Shires, Jackson Dean and more.
Back home, she'll play shows across the US and Canada with Eric Church and Chris Stapleton in the spring and summer. Tickets are on sale now.
