Teddy Swims Returns With New Single Mr. Know It All

Teddy Swims has returned with a new single, Mr. Know It All.
An infectious, mellow track about the pain of sabotaging your own love life, it blends vintage '80s-inspired rock and R&B production, marking the beginning of a new era for the Grammy-nominated Atlanta artist.
Reuniting with co-writers and producers Julian Bunetta, Ammo and John Ryan, with additional songwriting from Eskeerdo and Ed Drewett, Swims explained the song, "explores the idea that love can become a self-fulfilling contradiction." He continued:
"When you believe you already know how it ends, you protect yourself by holding back and that distance becomes the reason it fails. But when you try to fight that fate and control every outcome, you can end up suffocating the connection. It’s about how both fear and control can quietly undo something real. It's essentially a spin on Robert K. Merton’s concepts of self-destroying prophecy versus the self-fulfilling prophecy also known as ‘The Prophet's Dilemma’."
Swims released 'I’ve Tried Everything But Therapy (Complete Edition)' last June, which combines his first two albums, 2023's 'I've Tried Everything But Therapy (Part 1)' and part two, which arrived in January 2025.
He'll then head to Europe for further festival appearances and headline dates, including major outdoor shows across the UK and Ireland in June and July. Tickets are on sale.
Since dropping 'I’ve Tried Everything But Therapy (Complete Edition)' last summer, Swims has featured on several tracks by other artists, including Allegedly by Summer Walker, Gone Gone Gone by David Guetta, and So Contagious by Acceptance.
