Otoboke Beaver have shared a new song, Hey, Where’s the Thank You?

Following last week's I Don’t Need to Be in Your Strike Zone, the frantic, one-minute track marks the second release off the Japanese punk quartet's new, three-song maxi single, 'Is the New Album Out Yet?'. The title track will arrive on Wednesday (April 15).

Recorded with engineer Ippei Suda at LM Studio in Osaka, the songs mark the band's final recordings with drummer Kahokiss, who went on maternity and then announced her retirement from the band at the start of the year.

A physical 4" vinyl version of the maxi single is scheduled for release on June 10, following their 2022 album, 'Super Champon'. Since then, they've also release two live records, 2025's 'Live At Fandango' and 'Live At Takutaku'.

Otoboke Beaver, comprising vocalist Accorinrin, guitarist Yoyoyoshie, bassist Hirochan, and new drummer Leo (Emi Morimoto), formerly of Shonen Knife, are set to support Foo Fighters on the European leg of their Take Cover Tour this summer, and perform a headline show at London's Electric Ballroom on June 21. Tickets are on sale now.

Otoboke Beaver Upcoming Tour Dates are as follows

Sun June 21 2026 - LONDON Electric Ballroom
