Kacey Musgraves has released the title track of her upcoming sixth studio album.
Inspired by a sign in the Grammy-winning country-pop artist's tiny hometown of Golden, Texas, that reads "Golden, TX: Somewhere in the Middle of Nowhere", the eponymous track from 'Middle Of Nowhere' serves up gentle acoustic guitar and her signature warm vocals.
It follows Musgraves' earlier single, Dry Spell, which dropped last month alongside details of the follow-up to 2024's 'Deeper Well', previously announced for release on May 1. It'll also feature collaborations with Gregory Alan Isakov, Billy Strings, Miranda Lambert and Willie Nelson.
Alongside the new music, Musgraves has revealed that she'll play a surprise set on Coachella's Mojave Stage tomorrow afternoon (April 18), with the California festival returning for its second weekend. Later in the year, she'll appear at Bourbon and Beyond festival in Louisville, Kentucky in September.
To celebrate the record, she'll play at Circuit (the venue formerly known as Pryzm) in Kingston, London on April 22. Head here for details.
Kacey Musgraves Upcoming Tour Dates are as follows
