Due to ongoing demand, Shed Seven have added a show in Blackburn to their annual Shedcember winter tour.
The Britpop giants will take the stage at King George's Hall on November 16, marking their first performance in the town in seven years. Tickets go on general sale at 10am tomorrow (May 5).
The tour will also head to Nottingham, Birmingham, Norwich, Aberdeen, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Leicester, Brighton, Cardiff, Sheffield, Newcastle, Cambridge, Bristol, Stockton, Liverpool, Manchester, Lincoln, Stoke, Bournemouth, London and Leeds.
The shows will see the band perform songs from across their back catalogue, including hits like Going For Gold, Chasing Rainbows, Disco Down, On Standby and Talk Of The Town.
This year's tour is billed as Shedcember X, marking the 10th Shedcember Tour, and the band say it will be their biggest and most celebratory yet. Special guests The Academic will support on all dates. Tickets for their previously announced gigs are on sale now.
Ahead of the tour, Shed Seven will play shows throughout the spring and summer, including Neighbourhood Festival and the Isle Of Wight Festival, a Halifax show celebrating 30 years of 'A Maximum High' for the Live At The Piece Hall series, and a date supporting Richard Ashcroft in Berkshire for the Heritage Live series. They'll also perform in Belfast and Dublin in October.
Shed Seven released two UK chart-topping studio albums in 2024, 'A Matter Of Time' and 'Liquid Gold', along with 'Changed Giver', a reworking of their 1994 debut 'Change Giver'. Last year, they followed up with 'The Covers' EP and 'Liquid Gold (Live At York Museum Gardens Edition)', recorded at their hometown show the previous summer.
