Tom Morello has revealed a star-studded line-up for his new Power To The People event in the United States this fall.
Taking place at the Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, Maryland on October 3, the all-dayer will host performances from Foo Fighters, Dave Matthews, Joan Baez, Jack Black, Dropkick Murphys, Cypress Hill and Killer Mike, as well as the Rage Against The Machine guitarist. There will also be an appearance by special guest Bruce Springsteen.
Other acts set to perform include The Pretty Reckless vocalist Taylor Momsen, System Of A Down's Serge Tankian, Daryl ‘DMC’ McDaniels, Alabama Shakes' Brittany Howard, The Linda Lindas, former Pearl Jam drummer Matt Cameron, Grandson, The Neighborhood Kids and Shephard Fairey, who will peform a DJ set.
Although many of the confirmed acts have publicly denounced a number of policies implemented by the current Trump administration in the US, the event is described as "a non-partisan celebration of peace, justice, solidarity, music, and community action." Morello explained:
"The Power To The People festival is about freedom, justice, equality and rock and roll. It’s about the power everyday human beings have when they come together through music, art, community, and action. We’re honored to bring this incredible lineup to the DC area for a day that celebrates the spirit of activism, creativity, and hope."
Tickets go on general sale at 10am local time on Saturday (May 30), with a portion of the sales from VIP tickets goinig to VoteRiders and Headcount, which help Americans register to vote and understand the voting process.
Tom Morello will play an intimate show at London's Electric Brixton on June 15 as part of his 2026 tour, which includes an appearance the day before at Download Festival in the UK, which this year is headlined by Limp Bizkit, Guns N' Roses, and Linkin Park.
He also has several other festival dates lined up across the US and Europe, including Newport Folk Festival in Rhode Island and Louder Than Life in Louisville, Kentucky. Next March, he'll play A Night of Stories & Music shows in Alberta, Canada.
His latest solo albums are 2021's 'The Atlast Underground Fire' and 'The Atlas Underground Flood'. Most recently, he has collaborated with metal heavyweights Beartooth and Babymetal.
