Westside Cowboy And Bar Italia Among Second Wave Of Names Announced For Swn Festival

More acts have been announced for this year's Swn Festival line-up.

Returning for its 19th edition, the festival will take place across multiple venues in Cardiff's city centre this October, including Tramshed, Clwb Ifor Bach, St. John’s Church, Jacobs Basement, Fuel, The Canopi, Tiny Rebel, Little O’Neill’s and Porter’s, celebrating new music, emerging artists and homegrown acts alongside industry panels and mentoring opportunities.

Running for three full days for the third year in a row, as with the 2025 edition, Swn will once again collaborate with Cardiff Music City Festival, a two-week celebration of gigs, immersive aspects, residencies, installations and pop-ups across the city, including Llais, Wales Millennium Centre's international arts festival, and the Welsh Music Prize, which celebrates the best music made in or by Wales. 

New additions to the bill include Westside Cowboy, Bar Italia, Murkage Dave, Truthpaste, Ugly Ozo, Gently Tender, Uche Yara, Lemonsuckr, Twenty One Children, Alice Costelloe, supergroup KLÄMP (featuring members of Idles, Sex Swing and Pulled Apart By Horses), Beak> bassist Billy Fuller and more you can check out below.

They join the previously announced acts Dove Ellis, Cardinals, Porridge Radio's Dana Margolin, Working Men's Club, Bel Cobain, HMLTD, Lucia and the Best Boys, The Orielles, Little Grandad and more. Adam Williams, Head of Music for Swn, said:

"In a world that surrounds us with negativity, it's been extremely uplifting to work on Sŵn’s 19th edition. 2026's lineup is filled with incredible new music. Today, we welcome a whole host of new names to this year’s festival, with particular highlights ranging from Bar Italia to Uche Hara to ugly ozo, Gently Tender to Westside Cowboy to Murkage Dave and beyond. There’s really something for everyone and we can’t wait to welcome you all to Cardiff in October."

Swn Connect conference also returns and is set to take place at Cornerstone on October 16, with speakers to be announced soon.
