Tinashe Announces Eighth Album 'Popstar' With New Single Crash Out

Tinashe has released her second song of 2026.
Crash Out serves up the American artist's R&B-pop sound and follows last month's dance-pop single Too Easy. Both tracks offer a taste of what to expect from the R&B star's upcoming album, 'Popstar', due out through Atlantic Records on September 25, following 2024's 'Quantum Baby'.
The singer confirmed the news in an Instagram post, which also revealed what appears to be the album's cover art.
Tinashe will appear at Capitol Hill Block Party in Seattle next month, All Things Go festival in Columbia, Maryland in September and FORM festival in Arcosanti, Arizona in October.
The singer took her Match My Freak World Tour across North America, Europe, the UK, Australia and Asia throughout 2024 and 2025.
