Jonas Brothers have released a new single, Listen When Sad.
The American pop-rock siblings debuted the heartfelt track during the first of their three sold-out shows at New York's Madison Square Garden last week, celebrating their career-defining Burning Up Tour in 2008-09. It finds the siblings returning to their reflective, sentimental sound, reuniting with producer John Fields, who helped shape their earliest records and breakout hits. They explained:
"There’s something special about going back to one of the most pivotal eras in our musical journey. Listen When Sad reunites us with John Fields for the first time since 2009. To us, it feels like a piece of our heritage channeled through who we are today."
Jonas Brothers will take The Burning Up Tour: All Over Again across North America this fall and winter, kicking off on September 25 at Boston's TD Garden and wrapping up with two dates at Newark's Prudential Center on December 21 and 22.
Deleasa will open all dates, with Magnus Ferrell and Franklin Jonas also joining on select shows. The Hollywood Bowl show in Los Angeles on November 18 will feature special guests All Time Low, alongside Ferrell and Jonas.
Jonas Brothers released their latest studio album, 'Greetings From Your Hometown', last summer and supported it with the JONAS20: Greetings From Your Hometown Tour, which also celebrated their 20th anniversary. More recently, they put out the live record 'Friends From Your Hometown' this March, featuring several special guests, including Demi Lovato, John Legend, Khalid, Maren Morris and Absolutely, among others.
The eldest of the brothers, Kevin Jonas, released the single Little Things in May, along with the promise of more new music on the way. Despite the new solo material, there's no word yet on whether he'll release a full-length solo record.
Joe Jonas released his second solo album, 'Music For People Who Believe In Love', in 2025, while Nick Jonas put out his fifth solo LP, 'Sunday Best', in February.
