Cage The Elephant Release New Song Dying In Reverse

Cage The Elephant have shared a new song called Dying In Reverse.
Built on a steady beat with dreamy guitars and synths, the psych-tinged track will feature as part of the EA Sports FC™ 27 in-game soundtrack, released on September 25. On the song, vocalist Matt Schultz said:
"Dying In Reverse is essentially about a fresh start or a rebirth of sorts. More in terms of death to ego, renewing the mind and heart. The journey of turning your perspective away from self in order to see more clearly through the lens of love and connect to deeper purpose."
It follows earlier single Beaches In Tennessee in previewing the Grammy-winning Kentucky band's forthcoming, as-yet-unannounced seventh studio album, the follow-up to 2024's 'Neon Pill', which they started working on after appearing as special guests on the North American leg of the Oasis Live '25 tour.
Earlier this week, they announced their Dying In Reverse Tour across Europe and the UK for early next year, including shows in Cardiff, Leeds, Glasgow, Birmingham, Manchester and London, where they'll wrap up the run at Alexandra Palace on March 1. Tickets are on sale now.
Ahead of the tour, the band will perform at the official NFL halftime show for the Patriots vs. Lions game in Munich, Germany on November 15.
