Nell Mescal has released a new song, Hers, via Atlantic Records.
The tender acoustic track explores letting your guard down when you meet the right person and follows the Irish singer-songwriter's earlier singles Settles and Kissing The Ground, as well as her latest EP, 'The Closest We'll Get', which dropped last October. Nell said:
"Hers is a song about falling in love with someone for the first time. It’s about quickly realising the walls you built up or the fear you had around falling in love and letting someone in, don’t exist when you meet the right person. It’s a love song about surrendering to the good stuff after spending too much time worrying it was never gonna find you."
Having previously supported the likes of HAIM, Dermot Kennedy and Florence + The Machine, and performed at several festivals, most recently last month's All Points East in London, Mescal will next support Holly Humberstone on her European tour this month before an appearance at DIY Alive Festival in London EartH on October 3.
