Passenger Previews 'Wild Love' With New Single Boomerang

Passenger has shared another preview of his upcoming album.
Already a fan favourite after a demo circulated online three years ago, plus it's recently been included in live shows, Boomerang is the British singer-songwriter's oldest song to feature on 'Wild Love', due out on November 6. He explained:
"I wrote this song during lockdown (said every musician ever) and poured all of my restless and anxious energy into it, I was tired of ‘Groundhog Day’ - the monotony of it all - and tried to boil down the things that I wanted and perhaps didn’t feel that I had at that time, To live a good life, to love and be loved and to feel a sense of inner peace, things that I guess most of us are all striving for. I think that's what makes the song relatable hopefully."
Following previous single It Was Gonna Be You, Boomerang arrives alongside a Nic Minns-directed cinematic video filmed in the picturesque harbour village of Polperro, Cornwall. It finds Passenger playing the role of a fisherman whose repetitive daily routine recalls Groundhog Day, yet the simplicity of his life is also what makes it special.
After a major hometown performance at Brighton's Hove Park earlier this month, Passenger will next play an intimate out-store show presented by Rough Trade at XOYO in Birmingham on November 4 before taking his Wild Love Tour across the UK, Ireland, Europe and Australia throughout next year. Tickets are on sale now.
