Joy Crookes Shares With New Single Painkiller Featuring Denzel Curry

Joy Crookes has returned with a new single, Painkiller featuring Denzel Curry.
Produced alongside Dweller, the track pays tribute to '90s hip hop, blending the London artist's soulful vocals with the Florida rapper's sharp lyrics over sweeping strings. It explores a destructive relationship and arrives with a cinematic video, directed by Ethan and Tom, shot during two days in Chicago while Crookes was on the road supporting Lewis Capaldi's US tour.
The song continues the BRIT Award-nominated singer-songwriter's current creative streak following the recent release of Feet Don’t Fail Me Now Part 2, featuring Ravyn Lenae, a reworked version of her original 2021 track. She also appeared on Bonobo's single Always On Your Side last month.
She released her second album, 'Juniper', last September, followed by a deluxe edition in October.
