James Arthur has released a new single, Waste My Tears.
An emotionally-charged soul-pop song with soaring gospel backing vocals, the track carries a powerful message, offering a reminder that no matter what you're going through, the real you matters and has value. Arthur explained:
"This song is about knowing your worth, letting go of the things that don’t deserve your energy, and moving forward without looking back. One of my favourite lines is, ‘Don’t stop being anything but yourself,’ and I hope that means something to you too."
It marks the Middlesbrough singer-songwriter's first new solo release since his sixth album, 'PISCES', came out last year, and fans may recognise the song from its inclusion in the setlists of several shows on Arthur's Pisces Tour, which featured sold-out arena dates across Europe, the UK and Ireland over the last year.
Waste My Tears' video is set to premiere on YouTube at 5pm BST today (September 18).
