A second night has been added to Stand By Me: Bob Harris - A Celebration of Life In Music in London this winter.
Following huge demand, a second show has been confirmed at the Royal Albert Hall on December 3, after the sell-out of the first show on December 2.
The special shows will honour broadcasting legend Bob Harris with a star-studded line-up of artists spanning rock, folk, country and pop. Performers for the first night include Roger Daltrey, Paul Weller, Robert Plant with Saving Grace and Suzi Dian, Rick Wakeman, Carly Pearce, Chris Difford, Beth Nielsen Chapman, Judie Tzuke, Kate Rusby, The Shires, Kezia Gill and Toby Lee.
Roger Daltrey, Robert Plant, Carly Pearce and Beth Nielsen Chapman will return for the second night, joined by Albert Lee, Joe Brown, Bears Den, Seth Lakeman, Martyn Joseph and Elles Bailey.
Many of the artists announced have worked with or been championed by Harris, affectionately known as "Whispering Bob", throughout his decades-long career, with more names still to be revealed. Harris said:
"I'm overwhelmed by the response to this concert. To sell out the Royal Albert Hall once was beyond anything I could have imagined, so to be adding a second night, with yet another incredible group of artists is just extraordinary. I can't wait to be there for both very special evenings."
As with night one, the show will also feature broadcasting special guests sharing memories of Harris, as well as archive footage from his career, with Harris watching from the audience.
Tickets for the second night go on general sale at 10am on Friday (September 25).
