Paramore On Tour! Tour Dates & Tickets Announced

Tuesday, 08 September 2009 Written by Saard
ImagePop Punk-tastic, Grammy nominated, ‘Twilight’-soundtrack contributing Tennesee rockers Paramore will be on the road and in Blighty this December - like an early Christmas present. Click here for tickets.

Fronted by Hayley Williams, voted by Kerrang! to be the second sexiest female in the known universe, but better known for her uncompromising approach to her music, Paramore have gone platinum over the pond and are quickly heading that way over here.

‘Brand New Eyes’, Paramore’s third and, some are saying, final album is being released on September 29th. The UK leg of their tour looks a little bit like this, with support from You Me At Six:

FRI 11 DEC 2009 - Birmingham National Indoor Arena
MON 14 DEC 2009 - Cardiff International Arena
WED 16 DEC 2009 - Manchester Evening News Arena
THU 17 DEC 2009 - Brighton Centre
FRI 18 DEC 2009 - London Wembley Arena

Actually, it looks exactly like that. Get your ticket-buying pants on, as tickets are available from 9am on Friday 11th September. Click Here to Compare & Buy Paramore tickets.

Photo: Shelly Mosman It’s not often that an album comes along and bowls you over into a state of sheer stupefaction. The Minnesota trio Low have always dabbled in minimalist experimentation, but their 12th full-length offering, ‘Double Negative’, cranks things up a notch. With Bon Iver producer B.J. Burton once again on hand, they manage to accomplish a giant leap forward without ever losing sight of who they are.
Paul Simon - In The Blue Light (Album Review)

While Paul Simon may not be as prolific as Bob Dylan (38 solo albums) or Van Morrison (39), he might beat both artists in terms of consistent quality. Records like ‘Rhythm of the Saints’, released in 1990, and 2016’ s ‘Surprise’ often matched the brilliance of his work with Art Garfunkel, but may have been overlooked due to ageism within pop music.
