OneRepublic Announce April UK Tour, Tickets & New Single

OneRepublic will follow up their recent packed-to-the-rafters London date with a brand new UK tour taking place in April 2010, plus new single ‘Secrets’.

‘Secrets’ is released April 5th and is taken from OneRepublic’s current album ‘Waking Up’. The track is a spine-tingling rock ballad, layered with strings and anthemic guitars.

OneRepublic, Ryan Tedder, Zach Filkins, Drew Brown, Brent Kutzle and Eddie Fisher recorded this album - a more sweeping, cinematic effort than their debut - in Denver.

The quintet’s platinum-selling debut album ‘Dreaming Out Loud’ was a pure heart-on-your-sleeve confessional, written mostly by Tedder before his massive song writing successes outside of the band (which include Beyonce, Alicia Keys, Leona Lewis and Kelly Clarkson).

‘Waking Up’ explores some of the same experiences as the last album with even more strings and movie-like moments, thanks in part to the use of the same children's choir and orchestra used by Batman and Edward Scissorhands composer Danny Elfman.

OneRepublic's 2010 UK Tour dates:

April 14th - Belfast Limelight
April 16th - Glasgow O2 ABC
April 17th - Liverpool O2 Academy
April 19th - Norwich UEA
April 20th - London O2 Shepherds Bush Empire

Tickets are on general sale tomorrow, Friday 19th February, at 9am.
