Paramore Announce Return To UK With Winter Tour & Tickets

Pop punk rockers Paramore have announced a return to the UK this winter, with a number of arena dates scheduled for November later this year.

The US band, fronted by flame-haired lead singer Hayley Williams, will return to UK soil for a six-date jaunt around Britain. Kicking off the tour in Liverpool on 10th November, the band will roll through venues in Sheffield, London, Birmingham and Newcastle before closing the tour with a show in Aberdeen.

Having already played a sell-out UK tour at the end of 2009, Paramore now return to support the release of their Number One album ‘Brand New Eyes’. Fresh from their performance on the main stage at Radio 1’s Big Weekend in Bangor last weekend, Paramore told BBC Newsbeat, "It was great, high energy for sure," also saying that they love coming to the UK to listen to new music.

The follow-up to the band’s platinum-selling 2007 album ‘Riot!’ was produced by Rob Cavallo, who you might have heard about through his work with Green Day.

Tickets for the gigs are priced at £22.50, with the London show priced slightly higher at £24.50. They will be available to buy this Friday with fan-club members having an early chance to buy presales on Wednesday.

Paramore will play the following UK dates:

November 2010

10th Echo Arena, Liverpool
11th Sheffield Arena
13th O2 Arena, London
16th LG Arena, Birmingham
18th Metro Radio Arena, Newcastle
20th AECC, Aberdeen

Tickets are available from 9am on Friday 27th May. Check back to Stereoboard.com for presales.

Paul Simon - In The Blue Light (Album Review)

While Paul Simon may not be as prolific as Bob Dylan (38 solo albums) or Van Morrison (39), he might beat both artists in terms of consistent quality. Records like ‘Rhythm of the Saints’, released in 1990, and 2016’ s ‘Surprise’ often matched the brilliance of his work with Art Garfunkel, but may have been overlooked due to ageism within pop music.

Photo: Shelly Mosman It’s not often that an album comes along and bowls you over into a state of sheer stupefaction. Burton once again on hand, they manage to accomplish a giant leap forward without ever losing sight of who they are.
