Cute Is What We Aim For are an emo pop punk band from Buffalo, NY.
Having formed in 2005, the band was originally made up of high school friends, and after various line up changes finally settled with their current formation of Shaant Hacikyna, Jeff Czum and Tom Falcone. In November that year after much hype thanks to MySpace, the band signed with Fueled By Ramen, and continued to record and play shows. They released their debut album 'The Same Old Blood Rush with a New Touch' in June 2006, which debuted at #75 on the Billboard 200. Their second, 'Rotation', topped that however, reaching #21 in 2008. After various line up changes again, the band had a comeback in 2012, releasing a string of singles and embarking on a headline tour, and supported You Me at Six on their US tour in September and October. Cute Is What We Aim For are back in 2019 with a co-headline a UK tour with Red Jumpsuit Apparatus in spring 2019.
