Dark Funeral are a black metal band from Stockholm, Sweden, consisting of founding member guitarist Lord Ahriman (Mikael Svanberg), alongside vocalist Heljarmadr (Andreas Vingbäck), guitarist Chaq Mol (Bo Karlsson) and drummer Dominator (Nils Fjellström).
Formed in 1993, the band released their debut album, ‘The Secrets of the Black Arts’ in 1996, followed by‘Vobiscum Satanas’ in 1998, ‘Diabolis Interium’ in 2001, ‘Attera Totus Sanctus’ in 2005, ‘Angelus Exuro pro Eternus’ in 2009. Their latest album,‘Where Shadows Forever Reign’, was released in June 2016, via Century Media. Dark Funeral is set to play a show at London’s Underworld in October, in support of ‘Where Shadows Forever Reign’.
