Def Leppard are an English rock outfit hailing from Sheffield, South Yorkshire. Formed in 1977, the band currently consists of frontman Joe Elliott, bassist Rick Savage, and Rick Allen - three of the band’s founding members - alongside guitarists Phil Collen and Vivian Campbell.
Today one of Britain’s greatest arena rock bands, and one of the world's biggest and most successful live acts to this day, Leppard first started while its members were in their late teens, playing their first ever gig at the lunch hall of Westfield School.
Now, having sold over 65 million albums worldwide, ‘The Lepps’ have two albums with RIAA Diamond Certification, 'Pyromania' and 'Hysteria', and they are one of only five bands with two original studio offerings selling over 10 million in the US.
Celebrating the release of their entire back catalogue on streaming services in 2018, Def Leppard have confirmed new UK and Ireland shows, where they’ll play ’Hysteria’ in full - an extra London Wembley date has been added already to to extraordinary demand!
The rockers are also set to play a charity show for Teenage Cancer Trust in March. They also tour North America, Australia and New Zealand in 2018 too, and have also confirmed for European festivals in 2019.
