Deicide are an American death metal outfit hailing from Tampa, Florida. Formed in 1987, the band currently consists of two founding members - frontman and bassist Glen Benton and drummer Steve Asheim - alongside guitarists Jack Owen and Kevin Quirion.
Making their debut with a self-titled LP in 1990, the band would breakthrough with their second album ‘Legion’ in ‘92, and have since defined themselves as one of the world’s leading death metal acts, and the second-best selling of the post-Soundscan era behind Cannibal Corpse. As of 2014, they’ve released eleven studio albums, most recently with ‘In the Minds of Evil’ in 2013. Catch them live in London in December ‘14.
