Desert Mountain Tribe are a rock n roll/psych band from London via Koln, featuring Jonty Balls, Philipp Jahn and Frank Van der Ploeg.
The band got off to a flying start with early standout track Coming Down, and following a debut tour of Northern Europe in the winter of 2014/15, the band quickly progressed to perform at leading festivals within the psych community like Eindhoven Psych Lab and Lisbon Psych Fest in 2015. Their debut album, 'Either That Or The Moon' was released in the spring of 2016 to a wealth of acclaim, including Drowned In Sound, Louder Than War, Classic Rock and BBC 6 Music. The band again toured North America and Europe in Spring 2017, and later in the year digitally released two new EPs, ‘Live at Saint Pancras Old Church’ and ‘If You Don’t know Can You Don’t Know Koln’. Now, ready for 2018, Desert Mountain Tribe are heading off on a UK headline tour throughout September.
