Formed in 1984—originally as just Dinosaur—the band released their self-titled debut album in 1985, before becoming Dinosaur Jr for their 1998 release, ‘Bug’. After disbanding in 1997, the band returned in 2005 and have gone from strength to strength ever since, with their twelfth studio album 'Sweep It Into Space' released in 2021.
