The festival began as an an area of the Wickerman Festival in 2002, before launching as a separate event in 2009 with headliners The Levellers. The festival has 9 stages; Devorgilla Open Air Stage, Furry Chillum Cocktail Bar, Rabbie's Tavern, Ghilli Dhu Dance Emporium, Voltan's Psychedelic Temple, The Vishnu Lounge, Cycle Powered Reggae Stage, Casa Caliente and Bear Cub Soundsystem, as well as children's area, workshop arena, cabaret, cinema, theatre and disco. The festival has seen performances from the likes of De La Soul, Badly Drawn Boy, Gomez, Parov Stelar, Gil Scott-Heron and more.
