Elbow are an alt-rock band from Bury, consisting of Guy Garvey, Craig Potter, Mark Potter and Pete Turner.
Formed in 1990, originally under the name Soft, the band released their debut album, 'Asleep in the Back', in 2001. Since then, they have gone on to put out a further nine records including 2008's 'The Seldom Seen Kid'—which won them the Mercury Prize—and, most recently, 'Audio Vertigo' in 2024. Nuffin' in Norfolk!

Went to the 'Take off and Landing'. First time ever seeing Elbow and loved every minute. Guy Garvey has tremendous rapport with the audience even at a massive event. The trouble is when you live on the edge of the world like we do in Norfolk, a concert involves a few hundred £ for travel and overnight accommodation. Norwich is a nice place, Elbow.
