EMF are an alt-rock band from Gloucestershire.
Formed in 1989, the band received huge amounts of success, with their first single Unbelievable reaching #3 on the UK Official Singles Chart and #1 in the USA. They released three studio albums together before going on hiatus in 1997. The members worked on other projects throughout this time, also reuniting for one-off shows sporadically, before officially ending the hiatus in 2012. In 2022, they released their first album in 27 years, ‘Go Go Sapiens’. EMF have announced a trio of co-headline UK shows with Jesus Jones in October 2024.
