Esper Scout are an alternative/experimental rock band based in Leeds, made up of Kirsty, Rebecca, Sarah and Abbi.
The band was born from Kirsty and Sarah's bond as teenage friends (while unknowingly playing sport against their decade later drummer-to-be Abbi, of a rival school), the two started their first band in Manchester with bassist Rebecca. The trio have been constantly writing, recording and touring in various line-ups together since 2005, becoming Esper Scout in 2011, with the welcome addition of Abbi in 2015.
Esper Scout have so far released a string of tracks, Belay, In Foreign, Gaps In The Border Fence, Compass, and most recently Diving Marks in in November 2017.
The band have toured with The Cribs and the Wytches, supporting others such as Shonen Knife, Screaming Females and La Luz. Since releasing 'In Foreign', their first single in their current formation, the band has developed a continuing contribution to the Leeds musicians and artists' DIY co-op practice space/venue 'Chunk'. They have also contributed to Clue Records' Clue Club, which posts a fanzine and a song with a new band each month.
Esper Scout have been confirmed to support The Cribs at one night of their Leeds Brudenell Residency in December, alongside an in-store show at Sunbird Records in Darwen the same month. Catch the rising rocker live by checking out the tour dates and concert ticket information below on Stereoboard.
