Fates Warning is an American prog-metal band based in Hartford, Connecticut, currently consisting of Jim Matheos, Ray Alder, Joey Vera, Frank Aresti and Bobby Jarzombek.
Formed in 1982, the group put out their first LP, 'Night on Brocken', in 1984, but it was their sixth release, ‘Parallels’, in 1991, which gave the band their greatest success. Their twelfth record, 'Theories of Flight', hit shelves in July 2016. Fates Warning is set to play London’s Underworld in June.
