Fatherson are a Scottish indie band from Kilmarnock, consisting of guitarist and vocalist Ross Leighton, bassist Marc Strain, and drummer Greg Walkinshaw.
Formed in 2010, the band released their debut EP, ‘Hometown’, in 2011, via King Tuts Recordings. Their debut album, ‘I Am an Island’, came out in 2014, via A Modern Way, and reached the Top 40 in the UK Albums Chart. Their second album,‘Open Book’, was released in June 2016.
The band have headlined their own shows and tours across the UK, as well as having supported the likes of Frightened Rabbit, Panic! At The Disco, Feeder, Twin Atlantic, Enter Shikari and Idlewild, We Were Promised Jetpacks and PRIDES, and have performed at T in the Park, Rockness and The Great Escape.
Fatherson's latest album, 'Sum Of All Your Parts' is due for release on September 14 2018, which they'll support with launch shows in June and July.
