First Fifty is a new artist showcase run of gigs in London, created by the organisers of The Great Escape Festival.
The gig series, which was introduced last year, will take place across five East London venues - Hoxton Square Bar & Kitchen, the Old Blue Last, Birthdays, Zigfrid von Underbelly and the Courtyard Theatre - between November 27 and 29, with the aim of showcasing new talent who will go on to appear at the festival in May.
The bands for 2017's series included King Nun, Hunter and the Bear, the Orielles, Sports Team, Hotel Lux, M.I.L.K, Ruby Empress, Stereo Honey, Stella Donnelly, Αine Cahill, Katie Von Schleicher, Mikaela Davis, Promiseland, Bad Gyal, Denzel Himself, Fred Well, Sam Fender, Maisie Peters, Pitou, Mansionair, Rahh, Kops, City Calm Down, Wild Front, Moncrieff, Ten Tonnes, Freak, Feet, Joy Crooks, Awate, Naaz and more.
Self Esteem and Fontaines D.C. are among the first acts to be confirmed for 2018's instalment of the Great Escape's First Fifty gig series. Catch all of these and more live by checking out the festival dates and ticket information below on Stereoboard.
