Fisherman’s Friends are a male sea sea shanty group from Port Isaac, Cornwall, currently consisting of John and Jeremy Brown, John Lethbridge, Toby Lobb, Billy Hawkins, Jason Nicholas, John McDonnell and Jon Cleave.

Formed in 1995, the group released their debut album, ‘Suck'em and Sea’, in 2000, followed by ‘Another Mouthful From ... The Fisherman's Friends’ in 2009, before signing to Universal Music in 2010. They then released, ‘Port Isaac's Fisherman's Friends’ in 2010, which hit #9 in the UK Albums Chart, followed by ‘One And All’, in 2013, which also reached the Top Forty. Their latest album, ‘Proper Job’, came out in 2015.

The band have headlined their own shows and tours across the UK, as well as having played festivals such as Glastonbury and Cambridge Folk.
