Tahliah Barnett - best known by her stage name FKA Twigs - is an English singer, musician, and dancer hailing from Gloucestershire. Born in 1988, she originally moved to London to work as a dancer, even appearing in music videos for Jessie J, including Price Tag and Do It Like a Dude.
It was in 2012 that she decided to take music more seriously, and released her debut EP along with music videos for each song, picking up a load of fans here in the UK. Known for her brand of trip-hop, dream pop, and alternative R&B, she released her first feature-length record ‘LP1’ in August 2014. Going on to release the EP 'M3LL155X' in 2015 and the single Good To Love in 2016, she was pretty quiet for a while until the single Cellophane dropped in April 2019. Teasing fans with artwork, a new album called 'Magdalene' arrived in November 2019. FKA Twigs has North American tour dates lined up for 2020 to support the new record.
