G DRAGON, real name Kwon Ji-yong, is a South Korean rapper, singer-songwriter and producer, from Seoul.
Signing to YG Entertainment, he rose to fame as a member of Big Bang. His debut solo album, ‘Heartbreaker’, came out in 2009, and hit #1 in the Korean chart. This was followed by ‘Coup d'Etat’, in 2013, which also hit the top spot. He has also released a collaborative release, ‘GD & TOP’, in 2010, with fellow Big Bang member T.O.P. He released his latest EP, ‘Kwon Ji-Yong’, in June 2017. G DRAGON is set to play shows in London and Birmingham in September as part of his Act III, M.O.T.T.E World Tour, which also reaches North America, Australia, New Zealand, Europe, and Asia.
