Gerald Earl Gillum, better known by his stage name G-Eazy, is an American rapper and producer hailing from Oakland, California. Born in 1989, he has quickly become one of the best new names in the rap scene, perhaps best known for his refix of Dion Dimucci’s 60s hit Runaround Sue.
Releasing his music independently, he has unleashed a mammoth collection of tracks, albums, and mixtapes in his years so far, earning himself slots sharing a stage with the likes of Lil Wayne, Drake, and Snoop Dogg. His released the LP ‘These Things Happen’ in 2014, and his more recent release, ‘When It's Dark Out’, came out in 2015.
Following a while on the road supporting his recent music, G Eazy confirmed a new record, 'The Beautiful & Damned', which hit shelves in mid-December 2017. He's since announced the UK and Ireland leg of the tour of the same name! Catch them live by checking out the tour dates and concert ticket information below on Stereoboard.
G-Eazy has been calling himself the “rap game’s James Dean” since day one. And give the Californian credit where it’s due: he’s just as confident and good looking, even if at 28 he’s already lived longer than his idol. ‘The Beautiful & Damned’ is Eazy’s fourth record and the title shows he’s been consistent with his branding, if nothing else.
