Known for their classical covers of pop songs, the band formed in 2004 after meeting at Guildhall School of Music and Drama. They shot to fame after appearing on the first series of The X Factor, where they placed second. They released their self-titled debut album in 2005, which went 2x Platinum, followed by a further two records before their split in 2007. They reunited in 2014, putting out 'G4 Christmas' the following year and, most recently, 'G4 Love Songs' in 2017. G4 will embark on a Christmas Tour of the UK in November and December, with an extensive tour of the UK and Ireland in the diary throughout 2023.
