Ganstagrass are a band who defy genre - crossing par and hip hop with bluegrass, they're one of the most exciting fusion groups around. Created by Rench in 2007 a Brooklyn-based independent singer, songwriter, and producer, whose roots lie in honky-tonk and hip-hop. He initially put his mashups online for free, and hundreds of thousands of downloads proceeded!
He followed up 'Rench Presents: Ganstergrass' with 'Lightning on the Strings, Thunder on the Mic' in May 2010, 'Rappalachia' in 2012, 'Broken Hearts and Stolen Money' in 2014, then 'American Music' in 2015. They're set to release a live album in due course, too. The genre-fusing band Ganstagrass are coming to the UK, touring throughout January and February next year.
