Georgia Anne Muldrow is a soul and electro singer from Los Angeles.
Born to the acclaimed jazz musician Ronald Muldrow, the singer was exposed to music at an early age, and after graduating moved to study jazz in New York, meeting fellow students Robert Glasper and Bilal. In 2006 she released her debut EP 'Worthnothings' on Stones Throw Records, and her first album, 'Olesi: Fragments of an Earth' was released later that year. In 2008, she co-founded the SomeOthaShip Connect record label with fellow artist/ husband Dudley Perkins. After a string of more albums released under her own name, as Jyoti, as the Blackhouse and with Dudley Perkins, she released 'Seeds', an album entirely produced by Madlib, on SomeOthaShip Connect in 2012. Her latest was 2018's 'Overload'.
