Gilla Band are a post-punk and noise rock band from Dublin, formerly known as Girl Band until 2021.
Formed in 2011, the band released several EPs and a live album before dropping their debut studio LP, 'Holding Hands With Jamie' in 2015. Their second and most recent full-length serving, 'The Talkies', arrived in 2019. Gilla Band will embark on a European tour in autumn 2022, which hits the UK in October and November, with dates in Ireland planned for December.
