Giovanni Pernice is an Italian ballroom dancer and choreographer hailing from Sicily.
He is widely recognised as one of the professional dancers on BBC's Strictly Come Dancing, where he has competed in each annual series since 2015, alongside appearing as part of the show's live tours across the UK. In 2016, Pernice broke the Guinness World Record for Jive kicks and flicks, performing 55 in 30 seconds. He also holds the record for the most Charleston swivel steps in 30 seconds, completing 24 live on television in 2017. Giovanni Pernice has rescheduled his This Is Me Tour of the UK to spring 2022 in response to the coronavirus pandemic, and added more than ten new dates in the process.
