Girls Names is a Northern Irish rock band hailing from Belfast. Formed in 2009, the band consists of Cathal Cully, Claire Miskimmin, Philip Quinn, and Gib Cassidy.
Known for their eclectic sound, touching on post-punk, surf rock, lo-fi indie and alt-pop, Girls Names would release their debut LP, 'Dead to Me', in 2011, following it up with 'The New Life' two years later. In October 2015, they released their third record, 'Arms Around a Vision'. Girls Names announced their fourth album, 'Stains On Silence', along with accompanying tour dates, for June 2018.
