Glenn Hughes is an English bass player and vocalist from Cannock, Staffordshire. Starting his music career in 1967, as a member of the bands Finders Keepers and Trapeze. In 1973 he joined Deep Purple, before starting a solo career in 1976 when the band disbanded.

The Alban Arena is a live music and performance venue based at the Civic Centre in St Albans. First opened back in the '70s, it has remained one of the town's most popular destinations for entertainment, boasting a capacity of up to 1,200 standing fans.
