Gogol Bordello is an American gypsy punk band from New York City, New York, consisting of founding member and frontman Eugene Hütz and long-time violinist Sergey Ryabtsev, alongside bass player Thomas Gobena, vocals and percussionists Pedro Erazo-Segovia and Elizabeth Sun, guitarist Boris Pelekh, drummer Alfredo Ortizand Pasha Newmerzhitsky on accordion.
Formed in 1999, they released their debut record, 'Voi-la Intruder', but it wasn’t until their third album, ‘Gypsy Punks: Underdog World Strike’, released in 2005, that they broke through into the mainstream. The band released their latest album, 'Seekers & Finders', in 2017.
The band have headlined their own shows and tours across the world, and have supported the likes of Primus, Flogging Molly, and Cake.
