Grayson Perry is an English artist, broadcaster and writer from Essex.

Renowned for his contemporary approach to ceramics, Perry won the Turner Prize in 2003. He has since made an extensive series of television programmes and documentaries, has illustrated a graphic novel, and has written his own book, Playing To The Gallery, released in 2014.

Across an illustrious career, Perry has held solo exhibitions at Amsterdam's Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam, London's Barbican Centre, the British Museum, the Arnolfini in Bristol, The Andy Warhol Museum in Pittsburgh and the Museum of Contemporary Art in Kanazawa, Japan, among others.
