Grizzly Bear are an American indie rock band from Brooklyn, New York, featuring frontmen and multi-instrumentalists Ed Droste and Daniel Rossen, bassist and producer Chris Taylor, and drummer Christopher Bear.
Formed in 2002, the band released their debut album, ‘Horn of Plenty’, in 2004, which was followed by ‘Yellow House’, in 2006. Their third album, ‘Veckatimest’, in 2009, reached #8 in the Billboard 200, while ‘Shields’, released in 2012, hit #7. The band are set to release their latest album, ‘Painted Ruins’, on August 18, 2017. Grizzly Bear returned with UK and Ireland shows in October 2017, in support of ‘Painted Ruins’.
