Gruff Rhys is a psychedelic rock singer-songwriter and musician from Haverfordwest, Pembrokeshire.
Starting his musical career in 1986 as a member of Ffa Coffi Pawb, he went on to form Super Furry Animals in 1993, and later Neon Neon in 2007. He released his debut solo album, 'Yr Atal Genhedlaeth' in 2005, going on to put out a further six studio records to date. His most recent, 'Seeking New Gods', arrived in 2021, and he's set to follow it up with 'Sadness Sets Me Free' in January 2024. Gruff Rhys will support his new album with a tour of the UK and Ireland in January/February 2024, which includes a run of intimate record store shows to celebrate the release of his new album.
