Hidden/Craith is a drama series on S4C first aired in 2018. Filmed in Snowdonia, the crime show tells the story of detective DI Cadi John who returns to north Wales to care for her ailing father. However, when the body of a young woman is found in a local river, Cadi’s world - and the world around her - is changed forever. Hinterland/Y Gwyll, similarly, is a noir crime drama set in Aberystwyth, where troubled DCI Tom Mathias solves murders while searching for redemption. Both series are Welsh language productions also filmed in English.
The music from these popular dramas will be re-imagined with a concert put on by John Hardy Music. The concert will be performed by the original creative team, exploring the series’ impact on Wales, the local area, and audiences, and will feature a Q&A with Hinterland co-creator Ed Thomas and Hinterland / Hidden co-creator Ed Talfan.
