Philadelphia's indie rockers Hop Along, grew out of singer/guitarist Frances Quinlan’s solo lo-fi project called Hop Along, Queen Anslies, which produced one album, ‘Freshman Year’, in 2005.
Her brother, Mark Quinlan, joined on drums in 2008, then Tyler Long was added to the line-up in 2009. In 2014 Joe Reinhart joined the band on guitar. The band released the EP ‘Wretches and Is Something Wrong?’ in 2009 and their debut LP ‘Get Disowned’ was released in 2012. The band signed to Saddle Creek and released ‘Painted Shut’ in 2015. Their latest release was 2018's 'Bark Your Head Off, Dog'. The band have toured all over the US, as well as headline stints in the UK and Europe. In 2015 they played Budweiser’s Made in America curated by Jay-Z and headlined by Beyonce. After tour dates in the US this spring, Hop Along have announced UK and Ireland tour dates for June and a handful of European festival shows.
